Outdoor Activities

Lake Nepahwin is a beautiful lake where you and your family can enjoy swimming, fishing, and boating. You can also enjoy a hike on one of the several hiking trails around the lake that offer stunning views of the surrounding area.

Azilda Greenhouses is an amazing place to visit if you’re into gardening. The greenhouses offer a wide variety of plants and flowers, as well as gardening supplies and advice.

Recreation

The Azilda Lions Club Park is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the outdoors with some friends, family or even on your own. There is a diversity of activities you can take part in. There is a playground, picnic areas, and a walking trail.

The Azilda Community Centre is a hub of activity in the community. There is consistently  a variety of events and activities, including fitness classes, art shows, and community festivals.

Dr.Edgar Leclair Community Centre and Arena is a great place where you can go public skating, take skating lessons, hockey lessons or shinny hockey. 

Business

These are a couple of the great businesses that are found in Azilda:

Valley Inn Motel and Suites is the only motel located in Azilda. It’s a great clean, quiet place to spend the night.  It’s just 1.4km away from downtown Azilda. The Valley Motel offers newly renovated, clean & comfortable rooms at an affordable price to suit any number of travelers. Dog House Sports bar is a great restaurant where you can enjoy great food and cold drinks with people you love! It’s a perfect place to watch a game on the big screen! The Dog House opened its second location in Azilda in 2005, but originally opened their first location in downtown Sudbury, right across from the Sudbury Arena, in 1998.
