BNCC cricket ground
The Big Nickel cricket ground is a cricket field for cricket games. They have over 200 registered players and host many tournaments for the avid cricket player.
Recreation
Capreol community centre and arena
The Capreol community centre and arena has two rinks and a community centre. They offer public skating, parent and tot skating, adult skating and hockey lessons. Their community centre hosts a variety of events and is available for rental.
Capreol public beach
Capreol beach is a great place to relax and swim. You can also go for a kayak or canoe ride. There are bike lanes for the avid biker and grass space for picnics or lawn chairs. There’s also a 2.2km hiking trail which provides views of the lake. In the summer months, there is a lifeguard.
Business
Capreol is home to some really great stores and restaurants. A lot of these restaurants provide homemade fresh food. From breakfast to dinner, there’s always awesome food available in Capreol. From pizza to Chinese food, there’s something for everyone. These are some of the restaurants you can find in capreol: Crusty’s pizza, Peking palace, M&R grill and Fire house bar and grill.
Schools
Capreol has one elementary school called C.R. Judd elementary school. This school is an English public school for grades kindergarten to grade 8.
