Outdoor Activities
Sudbury kartways
Sudbury kartways is a kart racing track. It has been open since 1981. They provide single seat karts and double seat karts for those with children younger than 8 years old. There’s a kart racing league and a Sudbury kart club for those who are even more interested in karting. At Sudbury Kartways, they also have mini-putt and a batting cage that you can take advantage of.
Recreation
Cambrian arena
Cambrian arena is a great place to bring your whole family for a skate. This arena provides public skating, figure skating lessons and hockey lessons.
Business
The Flour Mill has a lot of great businesses, stores and restaurants to offer. Here’s an example of two great ones:
Leslie’s charbroil and grill
Leslie’s charbroil and grill offers delicious homemade food, served with large portions, at reasonable prices for all to enjoy. This restaurant was established in 2002 as an expansion on an already well established and reputable Classic Catering. They also offer catering for special events.
Flour mill community farm
The flour mill community farm is the first urban farm in Northeastern Ontario. This community farm focuses on improving outcomes of marginalised youth through employment training, work experience and character building. They want to help stop poverty by teaching employable skills and good work ethic.
Schools
There are three schools in the Flour Mill area. One elementary school that belongs to Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario and two secondary schools, one also belonging to Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario and the other belonging to Sudbury catholic school board. These schools are:

Having childcare close to your home is very convenient. Having your child in childcare in your neighborhood keeps them in an area they’re already acquainted with. There are two public child care centres in the Flour Mill area:

Parks
There are five parks located in the Flour Mill area. Parks provide kids with the opportunity to have fun in fresh air. These parks are:
