Outdoor Activities
New Sudbury has a variety of great options to offer to those who want to get outside. Go enjoy a beautiful easy 4km hike at Nickleldale Conservation Area or simply enjoy the simple outdoors at Constable Joseph Macdonald park. Children love the Ridgecrest splash pad where they’re able to cool down from the warm summer heat while also having a blast running through the water blasters. If you’re feeling even more sporty and active, head over to the jump track or to the Terry fox sports complex. There, you’ll find the ideal place for mountain biking and playing baseball on the multiple baseball fields.
Recreation
New Sudbury has a lot to offer for recreation. There are so many fun activities to choose from including the KUPP Center, Plaza Bowl, Inspired Tots, Urban Air and the Nickel District Pool. The KUPP centre has something for everyone! It has an indoor playground, laser tag and glow mini putt. The indoor playground features a three level play structure, a toddler soft play area and a huge wave slide. At Plaza Bowl the whole family will have fun while bowling in a newly renovated glow in the dark bowling alley. It includes 18 five-pin lanes, 6 ten pin lanes, 8 full size billiard tables, 3 nine ball tables. Inspired Tots is the perfect place for children. It allows children the chance to do open-ended play while doing hands-on exploration of art, sensory materials and loose parts. At Urban AIr trampoline and adventure park, you can bring your whole family – it’s evident that everyone of all ages will have a blast. New Sudbury also has a recreational pool- Nickel District Pool. This rec pool offers recreational swims as well as swim classes for all ages.Â
Business
New Sudbury has a variety of different businesses that you can visit. The New Sudbury centre has over 100 stores to choose from and a food court with something for everyone. Some of the anchor stores include: Wal-Mart, Shoppers Drug Mart, SportChek, H&M, Sephora, Lululemon, Roots, and Linen Chest.
New Sudbury has a lot to offer food wise. WHether you’re looking for a sit down meal or something a little quicker, these places are sure to satisfy your palate! These include: Smith’s market, Damascus, The Kouzzina, Mr Prime Rib, MIC canadian eatery, Salute coffee and Lot 88 Steakhouse and bar.
