Blue Jay Path and Willow’s Way Trail

Blue Jay Path and Willow’s Way Trail are beautiful walking trails in the summer and perfect for snowshoeing in the winter. Blue Jay Path is a scenic 2.1km loop and Willow’s Way Trail is a 1.3km loop. 

Recreation

Garson Community Centre and Arena 

Garson community centre and arena is a great place to go. They have a community center where they host community events and the centre is also available for rent. The rink is a perfect place to learn how to skate. They offer public skating, family skating and hockey lessons. 

 

Lorne Brady Field Sport Complex 

This sports complex spans almost 15 acres.  It features beautiful walking trails, two hybrid tennis/pickleball courts and a baseball field. 

Cedar Green Golf Club 

Cedar Green Golf Club is Sudbury’s most popular golf course. It is an 18-hole golf course where holes 16, 17 and 18 provide more challenges for golfers of all abilities. Day passes and memberships are available for purchase. Kids are always welcome, Cedar Green always offers free gold to kids under ten years old. They also have a variety of specials like the twilight special and the sunset special.

Business

Garson has a bunch of great restaurants and businesses. Here are a couple of them: Bundy’s chip stand is a summer season chip stand that serves a variety of deep fried food including fries, burgers, hot dogs, etc. Some of the other businesses are: True north water and air, We cut grass and Lavoie and sons garage doors.

Schools

There are three elementary schools in Garson which range from grades kindergarten to 8. These three schools are part of three different school boards; Rainbow District School Board, Sudbury Catholic School Board and le Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario.

Parks are a great place for families to have fun together. Garson has over ten parks.
