Outdoor Activities

The Ramsey lake skating path is open during the winter months. This skating path is about 1.5 km long and extends from the Sudbury Rowing and Canoe Club all the way to behind Science North. There are heated areas where you can put on your skates at either end of the skate path. They do not provide skates. 

Bell Park has so much to offer. Bring your family to Bell Park to take a walk on the 2 km boardwalk on the beautiful shores of Lake Ramsey, enjoy swimming and playing in the golden sand at the beach, on the playground or enjoying watersports like swimming, canoeing, and kayaking. Bell Park includes the Grace Hartman Amphitheatre, William Bell Gazebo, the Katherine Bell Gazebo, flowerbeds, children’s play structure, a supervised beach and washrooms (seasonal), as well as a monumental sculpture commemorating Sudbury’s mining heritage.

Recreation

The Art gallery of Sudbury is the perfect place for an art enthusiast. It’s a great place to spend a few hours while looking at beautiful art. Unfortunately it’s currently closed.

Business

Ramsey floral company is a newer business that provides beautiful flower arrangements, fresh, dried and preserved. They also sell soy candles and perfect cards for any occasion. Floral bouquets are a perfect gift for any one in your life.

The Hospital Area has two schools. These two schools come from the Rainbow District School Board and Conseil scolaire publique du Grand Nord de l’Ontario. These schools are:
